My Definition of ‘Star Citizen’
Star Citizen is for people who want a game that can give them the “Future in space” experience. It has a lot of simulator features, but it’s still a game. When you buy the game ($40-50), you get 1 ship with your game pack. So, as a character of your own creation, you start with that ship and have to make your way in the ‘verse, along with everyone else. Eventually it’ll be one server and everyone is on it together. (100 max currently)
PvP is a thing, there’s murderers and pirates irl, so definitely in this game. It’s an actual game loop too. There’s prison and prison time for crimes, bounty hunting to hunt those people + pirates. Cargo runners and miners with pirates to pirate them. When the game is fully fleshed out (It’s still being developed), you’ll have jobs driving a bus around a city you can take as a mission, to commanding a military capital ship requiring 30+ people just to make it “go”.
You can get into the game for $40 to $50 too.
